Hi there, I have a Canon MX472 and am running Windows 10. I set up my printer on WIFI and it’s worked fine before, but now when I try and scan, it’s saying “PC not Connected”.
Computer recognizes my printer but not the scanning function it also performs If you create a new folder in the Scanned Documents folder, it won’t appear in the Scan view until you close and reopen Windows Fax and Scan, or collapse and then expand the list of folders. 6/09/2010 · I can’t get my Brother MFC 5440CN to scan documents into email. The software is set up to default to Outlook Express (which I don’t use) as the email application. Have tried to change the default (to what I do use, Mozilla Firefox/Gmail) through the Brother Control Center 2.0 dashboard.

My problem is that I can’t get my X5650 Lexmark all into one printer to scan. Try using the Lexmark Productivity Studio to scan. To access that, on your computer, click on Start > All Programs > Lexmark 5600-6600 Series > Lexmark Productivity Studio.
When trying to scan from the printer itself, my options listed our the HP software installed on the computer (Image Zone, Document Viewer, ect) and Scan to Memory Device. Interestingly enough, when I ‘Scan to Memory Device’, PDF is an option and it scans beautifully into a PDF document.

When you want to scan something the scanner says I need to set my computer to scan. When I do that my computer can’t find the scanner even though the connection is fine and sometimes it asks me to connect it with a USB cable which I don’t have and it didn’t follow the printer.

DELL All-In-One Printer Will Scan, But Can’t Save The Scan I have a DIMENSION 3100C, running Windows XP, with a Dell All-In-One Photo Printer 964. I used to be able to scan documents with it using the Dell All-In-One Center.
